Choosing a historic villa for your wedding means choosing timeless elegance.
That’s why today we will bring you on a fabulous trip through time, getting you to know one of the most enchanting historic venues for your wedding day.
Imagine a little village with a delicate charm among the soft hills of Sardinia.
The distinctive trait of the historical centre, the wide variety of the landscape and the sense of peace you can feel walking throughout the narrow cobbled streets or taking a break in the shadows of the bell towers make this village a magic and romantic wedding venue.
A lost in time scenery but just one hour far from the airport of Cagliari: here an ancient aristocratic villa, built in the first half of the 19th century, overlooks the landscape from the highest point of the historical centre.
This magnificent villa takes up a whole block of the village and looks directly at the majestic church of San Pietro through a charming stone arch. It’s in this heavenly atmosphere that the religious ceremony takes place.
Beside being a noble house, this structure was the centre of a flourishing agricultural activity.
Nowadays, the noble palace is a museum but it is also one of the few palaces where you can have your civil ceremony inside. The rural part, with its limitless courtyard, warehouses and stables has been completely renoveted and its now an elegant location for wedding receptions.
There are things you cannot describe and this villa is the proof. The bright colour of the stones, the pure white local Church, the green shades of the olive trees and the fragance of traditional cuisine: these are just a few things which make this historic venue magic, but the one we love the most is the feeling of being inside an ancient village.
As soon as you cross the gate the most surprisingly area is the limitless courtyard. It doesn’t matter if you choose it for the ceremony, for an aperitif or for the cake cutting: the wow effect is guaranteed.
Two halls can host your reception: the main one, with its majestic chandeliers, wooden ceilings and original traditional handcrafts overlooks the garden. The other one, is a more intimate and cozy setting, overlooking the secret loggias and its suggestive fireplace.
The delicioius traditional food of this part of the island completes this perfect framework: a culinary itinerary throughout flavours and scents of our land. Simple products, a good wine and the pleasure of sharing will be the keywords of your special day.
Go out with a bang choosing one of the cozy b&b of the area: giving a great example of cooperation, they have created a network, ensuring a top level hospitality in a homemade atmosphere.
