Sand Ceremony in Palau for Chris and Sarah

Chris and Sarah contacted us from UK for their beach wedding in Sardinia. They were staying in Palau (North East) and we decided that the best place for their beach ceremony was the nearest Isola dei Gabbiani where they also had a lovely reception with a few guests.
Together with the Humanist Minister they decided to enrich their ceremony with a special sand ritual.
The wedding sand ceremony is a unity type ceremony which expresses the coming together of two people into one new family. Typically, each person has different colored sand and takes turns pouring it into one clear vase, forming a layered effect. Sometimes just the couple participates, and sometimes the couple’s children join in with their own colored sands, adding to the layers of colors, and expressing the harmony of the entire family.
