The year 2023 was a memorable one for us at Wedding Sardinia. We had the pleasure of organising weddings for couples from all over the world, especially from America and Australia, who chose our beautiful island as their dream wedding destination in Italy.

One of the trends that we loved was the wedcation – not just a wedding, but a vacation with your loved ones. Many couples decided to extend their stay and enjoy the various activities and attractions that Sardinia has to offer. From boat trips to wine-tasting, from sunset dinners to beach parties, we helped them plan unforgettable wedding events that made their wedcation even more special.

Another trend that we noticed was the preference for civil and symbolic ceremonies over religious ones. This gave us the opportunity to explore the many stunning locations that Sardinia has for legally binding weddings outside the town hall. Whether it was a beach, a castle, a garden, or an archaeological site, we found the perfect spot for each couple to exchange their vows with a breathtaking view.

We were also honoured to organise LGBT weddings in Sardinia, which have been possible since 2016 thanks to the civil union law that recognises same-sex marriages. We made sure that each ceremony was personalised and meaningful, reflecting the couple’s story, values, and culture. We also took care of the legal aspects, ensuring that the marriage was valid and registered in their home country.

We are grateful to all the vendors and venues that we have worked with, both old and new, for their professionalism and quality. We are also thankful to all the couples who trusted us with their most important day and shared their happiness with us. We wish them all a wonderful life together and hope to see them again in Sardinia.
