Every year the number of couples asking to get married in October is growing and we are extremely happy for that.

If you are thinking of cold weather, grey sky, autumns leaves, country style, brown colours…well you are completely wrong!

Here are some very good reasons why a Sardinian October wedding can be the perfect choice.

1 . STILL SUMMERTIME
In Sardinia we have a very looooong summer starting from April and ending in November or even December. Often we spend our Christmas holidays sipping a cocktail on the beach.
The temperature is still warm but not too hot and can easily find sunny days which are perfect for an outdoor wedding without the heat!

2. BEAUTIFUL COLOURS
Yes, the days are shorter but you can start the wedding earlier and enjoy the beautiful colours of the natural light which is absolutely romantic.

3. EMPTY BEACHES AND QUIET PLACES
During this month Sardinia is not busy so you can have the most beautiful beaches almost at your complete disposal. Imagine quiet places, unspoilt beaches, the gentle sound of the sea, the perfumes of the nature. Yes this is paradise and it is handy!

4. GOOD RATES
October means low season. Most of the hotels are going to close and are willing to offer very good rates. This is also valid for some suppliers who are happy to offer discounted services.

5. FLOWERS
In October is easier to find any kind of flowers, even those which are sensible to the heat like peonies.And you don’t need to choose an autumn theme as it is still summer here!

6. HALF TERM
If you have many guests with children it would be a good idea having your wedding at half term which falls in October as well. The warmest weather is much better for children as well.

7. CHEAP FLIGHTS
If booked well in advance is easy to find cheap flights.

8. LAST BUT NOT LEAST
You won’t sweat on your wedding dress!
